The Matthew 18:20 Immigration Alliance Fund
"For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them" Matthew 18:20
Did you know that God has placed a mission on America's doorstep in our immigrant neighbors? There are 82 million first and second generation immigrants currently living in the United States. God has brought the world to America's doorstep. Would you pray and determine right now how you can join us in providing legal and holistic services to under-resourced immigrants?
We named this campaign after a verse in the Bible, Matthew 18:20, because we believe that God doesn't ask for extravagance, he asks us to show up. We are a national organization that gathers local church and community leaders together with one heart, to share Christian love and charity with our immigrant brothers and sisters.
As you are led by God, would you "show up"? Be that first, second, or third person who gathers with us, with God. We say this humbly, yet boldly because we do believe that God has called us to reach immigrants. Maybe he is calling you? And if so, consider taking the words in Matthew 18:20 literally and give $2 or $3.
Henri Nouwen says, "When we give generously, with an abundance mentality, what we give away will multiply." Every dollar is a direct investment in God's plan for our immigrant brothers and sisters. God is able to do more than we can imagine with whatever we entrust back to him.
